This qualification is suitable for advanced operators/die setters, work team leaders, production hands, workplace trainers and quality inspectors.
This course takes 36 months or 770 nominal hours.
Successful completion will require competency in units that relate to work defined as aligned at the Australian Qualifications Training Framework (AQTF) Level 3. This qualification will be issued upon successful completion of twenty-one (21) units of competency, comprising: All four (4) mandatory units; At least four (4) technical units from the PMB'300' series. (This may include up to two (2) from the PMB'400' series), many of which will have prerequisites.
Other competencies relevant to the learners workplace. These may be production or support competencies from this Training Package, and up to six (6) competencies from another endorsed Training Package.
If a trainee already holds a Certificate II under this Training Package, another seven (7) units are required to qualify forCertificate III.
